ABOUT

For the last 10 years I have worked in higher-ed. I'm am currently a financial analyst and committed to reducing wasteful spending and inefficient accountability measures to create solvency in a turbulent economic time.

I enjoy being active in social justice initiatives and furthering the fair treatment of every individual. I volunteer teaching financial literacy to youth, as well as, help social entrepreneurs establish non-profit enterprises. I teach organizational development, grant writing, and automating process that distract from core initiatives.

My personal interests include the outdoors (camping, fishing, 4wheeling), skiing/snowboarding, writing, painting, and pretty much any sport you can imagine.

As an analyst, I enjoy the challenge of turning a college or university financials back to a less stressful environment that allows administrators to lower tuition costs and expand supplemental funding. I work to improve student management processes and front end operations (marketing and admissions functions), so as to better serve the student's needs; as well as the bottom line and investors' interests or taxpayers' liability.

I have a simpler approach to analysis, which redirects the focus back to serving the needs of clients in an ever changing market. I believe in solid research and morphing the best practices to create positive change in different markets. In short, I don't believe in reinventing the wheel, but rather in finding the limitless other ways we can make it better.
